Carpinus orientalis semi cascade

Here is  the styling of this Carpinus orientalis.
This tree belongs to a student of me; Floris Velthuis, we made this tree in a one to one workshopsession.
We had a discussion about  this tree, how to style it and get the best result out of it.
A raftstyle was Floris' first idea . My advise was to make a convincing  old looking tree growing on a mountaintop with big massive branches hanging over the edge and off course with lots of deadwood on it.
Next year we will work further on the deadwood and it will be refined.
